the Rock Clinic

Welcome to The Rock Clinic

Professional psychological, physical and complementary therapy

The Rock Clinic Association (RCA), a registered charity, is a community of over 120 psychotherapists, therapists and complementary therapists who are able to offer a wide range of therapies over two locations for six days a week. The RCA has been established for over 25 years, since 1990, and continues to be committed to offering low cost and affordable therapy within the community of Brighton and Hove.

The Rock has two sites across the city: Rock East, 270 Eastern Road, Brighton BN2 5TA and Rock West, 8 Western Street, Brighton BN1 2PG. Both Clinics have facilities for individual psychological and physical therapy, with space for group work.  There is full disabled access at Rock West and good disabled access at Rock East.

Both Clinics are in operation during the week from 8am - 9pm Monday to Friday and on Saturday from 9am - 5pm.  For details of our reception hours, please see our Contacts page.  Please note that we are closed on public Bank Holidays and between Christmas and New Year.

For 2018, there will be no appointments available on the following Bank Holidays: Friday 30th March, Monday 2nd April, Monday 7th May, Monday 28th May, Monday 27th August, Tuesday 25th December and Wednesday 26th December.  In addition to these dates, both offices will be closed on Saturday 31st March and Saturday 22nd December 2018 to Thursday 3rd January 2019 (reopening at 9am that day).  Your therapist will discuss their individual holiday dates and availability with you for these times.

Rock Clinic practitioners provide a range of therapeutic approaches at affordable cost and offer training placements for those studying or recently qualified in counselling and psychotherapy at postgraduate level.

Due to the popularity of our training schemes, our placements are currently full.  We will be accepting applications again for these schemes from October 2018

The Clinic is aware that certain groups may have particular issues and experiences which require specialist understanding (please see our Equal Opportunity Policy

We are able to offer help to those from BME, LGBTQ, young people (13+) and Third Age groups, as well as working age adults, and can deliver therapy in a range of languages.
