The Rock Clinic Association (RCA), a registered charity, is a community of over 120 counsellors and psychotherapists offering a range of psychological therapies and body work. The RCA has been established since 1990, and continues to be committed to offering low cost and affordable therapy within the community of Brighton, Hove and Sussex.
The Rock has two sites across the city:
Both Clinics have facilities for individual psychological and physical therapy, with space for group work. There is full disabled access at Rock West and good disabled access at Rock East.
Both Clinics are in operation during the week from 8am - 9pm Monday to Friday and on Saturday from 9am - 5pm. For details of our reception hours, please see our Contacts page. Please note that we are closed on public Bank Holidays and between Christmas and New Year.
Rock Clinic practitioners provide a range of therapeutic approaches at affordable cost and offer training placements for those studying or recently qualified in counselling and psychotherapy at postgraduate level.
The Clinic is aware that certain groups may have particular issues and experiences which require specialist understanding (please see our Equal Opportunity Policy)
We are able to offer help to those from BAME, LGBTQ, young people (13+) and Third Age groups, as well as working age adults, and can deliver therapy in a range of languages.
We also have worked successfully online for over 10 years and as video conferencing has improved this has now become a useful addition to our range of services especially in the light of current COVID restrictions on in-person working.
Rock Clinics East and West have a total of 16 consulting rooms and two larger spaces suitable for group work, training events and awaydays.
Rock West has full disabled access and Rock East has good disabled access.
