Based on the principles of psychoanalysis, psychodynamic psychotherapy offers the opportunity to explore unconscious conflicts together with more conscious difficulties within a safe and containing relationship.
Consideration of these issues and the re-experiencing of unresolved or problematic feelings within a therapeutic relationship open the way for insight and change using techniques such as dream interpretation and free association.
Jungian, object relations, existential and integrative schools of therapy are available.
