Psychological therapy options

The Rock Clinic Association has a range of counselling and psychological therapy options in order to provide accessible and affordable therapy within a swift timescale for the community.

Low Cost Counselling Scheme

Staffed by counsellors who have completed a basic course in counselling and who are undertaking further training, the Rock Clinic’s scheme offers counselling once a week for up to two years at low rates. Psychodynamic, integrative and CBT options available.

Reduced Cost Psychotherapy

Staffed by trainee psychotherapists who have considerable experience either in counselling or another of the helping professions, the Rock Clinic's scheme offers twice weekly therapy (or more) at reduced rates with a minimum commitment of 18 months - 2 years.

Intermediate cost scheme

Staffed by recently qualified counsellors,  psychotherapists and counselling psychologists in their final months of training, who are working towards professional accreditation.  This may be with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BACBP) .  The Rock Clinic offers Analytic Psychotherapy, CBT, Counselling and Couple Therapy at affordable rates, generally once a week for up to two years with the option to extend further by negotiation. Full cost scheme

Staffed by qualified, experienced counsellors and therapists who are either accredited or eligible for accreditation with BACP, UKCP, BACBP or BPS.  Counselling or psychotherapy may be open ended and may be more than once a week by negotiation with the therapist.
